My band LYE is on the road again. This time we travel to Little Rock, Dallas, the Oklahoma City. While our tour van has been very reliable, and comfortable, it is extremely hot down south. Yesterday's high temperature in Little Rock was 102 and the high temperature in Dallas today is expected to be 107. Summer is a great time to get away from work and travel, but I'm starting to think that this trip may have been a little easier to take in if it were November.
Last night's venue was great, and so was the promoter Mario. He took care of food and housing for the 6 of us. He and his wife got us Pizza Hut, made us steak tacos for a late night dinner, then chorizo this morning. So far, this trip has started out very well.
We are about 2 hours outside of Dallas right now. Tonight's show should be great due to the amount of promotion that was done beforehand by the event organizer.
